Lights of Love marks 33 years at CCH

Three trees (one with white lights, one with colored lights, and one with blue lights) are placed outside the main entrance of Columbus Community Hospital. The trees are illuminated during a special tree lighting ceremony hosted by the Volunteers of CCH on December 10 at 4:30 p.m. The evening includes a memorial ceremony, refreshments, and ornament decorating.

Funds from the event will be used to purchase equipment for the CCH Lifeline program, a home emergency response system utilized by residents in the hospital’s service area. Lifeline enables elderly, handicapped or medically-fragile persons to live independently, while assuring them that if they need help quickly, it will be available to them at the press of a button. The service is available to those with traditional landline phone service and cellular or wireless service.

Those to contribute to this year’s Lights of Love project may receive a form by stopping by Columbus Community Hospital at 1515 Park Avenue, Columbus, WI 53925 or contacting the Volunteers of CCH at 920-623-1280 or pwalker@cch-inc.com. A minimum gift of $5.00 per light per person is appreciated. Checks should be made payable to the Lights of Love. Names of those remembered and honored will be displayed at the Lights of Love ceremony and printed in the spring issue of the Foundation Focus, a hospital publication. All are welcome to attend the tree lighting ceremony.
